Fluoride Treatments in Greer

Fluoride treatments can help prevent tooth decay by making teeth more cavity resistant by strengthening the outer surface of the teeth. Cavities are created as the bacteria in our mouths release acids from their absorption of sugars left over from the food and drinks we consume. These acids then attack the enamel on your child's teeth.

During your child's regular visits to our office, fluoride will be applied to your child's teeth in the form of a gel, foam, or varnish. We recommend that your child visit our office twice a year unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor and that fluoride treatments are provided once a year.
